GENTLE HATHA YOGA (For seniors & Beginners)

Join Manisha for this easy and gentle yoga class.

This is a 60 minutes class based on Sivananda Tradition. You will be doing gentle stretches and yoga asanas to release tension and increase flexibility. An ideal class for beginners or if you have some physical limitations. This class will slowly help you build strength, breathe better and calm the mind. You will learn basic Pranayama (yogic breathing) and meditation to bring everything to the centre.

A lot of older people are practicing yoga as part of their daily routine. It has proven to be a beneficial way for seniors to work out, since it is low-impact and modifiable to an individual's abilities. But it has been noticed that seniors may not get their best practice when they are surrounded by younger yogis in classes. That is why, SUN YOGA studio is starting classes especially tailored to seniors!

If you are new to yoga or love doing gentle and slow yoga, then this is ideal class for you!
